Our Restaurant, the Macok Bistro and Wine Bar is a jaunty and youthful restaurant where international dishes are presented in local style with wine specialties which can be found only in the cellars of enthusiastic collectors.
Our Restaurant is located in the downtown, exactly at the Castle’s entrance. By sitting in our terrace you can take part in the living history of Eger.
We are making foods with the biggest attention and care, and serving the courses in this way to the Guests. We like to call up the traditional, old-fashioned tastes, however we rethink the corses’ appearance. The commodities are from the area’s small producers, who make and breed us the best materials, for example the trout from Szilvásvárad, cheese specialties from the Bükk, homemade noodles, etc.
Our goals have reached with reanimating the life in the city and creating a lovable place where generations may enjoy the foods and wines like they are at home, but a business meeting can going by in an informal atmosphere.
The restaurant waits children with separate menu and toys, thus parents can relax.
